Which is better for my skin, Witch Hazel or Rosewater? Here’s what we think…

Firstly, we are going to analyse the differences between both Witch Hazel & Rosewater. The widely used skincare ingredients have countless benefits to your skin and theres no scepticism towards the natural powers these two plants hold.

Witch Hazel is a blend of leaves, bark and roots derived from the Hamamelis Virginiana Shrub. It compacts the natural properties of the entire plant to broaden the purposes of the extract. Witch Hazel holds many phytochemicals, beneficial to the skin. A phytochemical is a very good antioxidant that prevents free radicals damaging or harming the skin. Free Radicals are linked to ageing and dry skin. Witch Hazel has the properties to prevent free radicals affecting your skin. The Witch Hazel Experts have created a Distilled Witch Hazel Toner & Cleanser, to intensify the benefits of Pure Witch Hazel!

Rosewater is created by a distillation process with rose petals. Through steaming and pressing the leaves of the rose plant, a product is created that holds the potent properties that do wonders for your skin. Rosewater focuses on balancing your skins Ph levels! Skin needs to be about 5.5Ph to be at its optimum level. Ageing, wrinkles, acne, dry skin and dark circles are all linked to an imbalance of your skins Ph. Rosewater also balances the oils your skin needs to be healthy and hydrated (without being greasy!) Why not try our Rosewater Mist Spray, a gentle way to give your skin the minerals it needs.

Clearly they both provide different benefits to your skin, but what happens to your skin when you combine the two?

Together they blend perfectly to create a natural skin toner & cleanser. Since Witch Hazel is a natural astringent and tightens your skin cells to reduce bacteria entering your skin and clogging your pores. Witch Hazel also forces out any remaining dirt or oils by closing the space they sit in on the surface of your skin. Your skin then loses some essential oils and minerals required to have a balanced Ph. That is why a Witch Hazel & Rosewater Toner is a must have in any skincare routine.

Rosewater replenishes your skin by balancing the oils and Ph levels lost by using Witch Hazel. Ultimately, you can clean your skin from all these toxins safely, naturally and with a balanced Ph level – which some skincare products don’t do!

So if you thought the two natural ingredients were great individually, you’d be pleased to know that they work even better on your skin combined!
